Description
The 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo was developed by West Germany’s Zakspeed team for the DRM. With a lightweight 790 kg, wide-body aerodynamic design, it was powered by a 1,427 cc turbocharged inline-four producing 375 hp. The Capri Turbo claimed its first victory at the Nürburgring in 1978 and went on to secure wins and podiums in the 1979 season, becoming one of the most iconic Silhouette Formula race cars in DRM history.
