Zoukei Mura 1/32 Horten Ho 229 B Plastic Model Kit

This is the Zoukei Mura 1/32 Horten Ho 229 B Plastic Model Kit

The Horten Ho 229 B represents one of the most advanced and unconventional aircraft concepts developed during World War II. Designed by the innovative Horten brothers, this two-seat Nachtjäger (night fighter) variant featured a tandem cockpit and onboard radar, making it one of the most forward-thinking aircraft designs of its time.

This release from Zoukei-Mura is part of their acclaimed Super Wing Series (SWS), developed through extensive research and redesign from the original single-seat Ho 229 kit. The result is a highly detailed and unique model that captures the spirit and engineering vision of the Horten brothers.

From their early fascination with gliders to the development of cutting-edge flying wing aircraft under the influence of Alexander Lippisch, the Horten brothers pushed the boundaries of aviation design. The Ho 229 B night fighter variant featured a narrow tandem cockpit with a radar operator seated behind the pilot, and was equipped with a FuG 220 Lichtenstein radar system similar to that used on the Heinkel He 219 for nighttime interception.

Although the Ho 229 never saw combat before the end of the war, its revolutionary flying wing design and jet propulsion made it a truly iconic “what-if” aircraft. Zoukei-Mura faithfully recreates this concept, allowing modelers to bring this remarkable Luftwaffe “bird of prey” to life.

 Features:

  • Highly detailed 1/32 scale plastic model kit
  • Build as single-seat or two-seat (Ho 229 B) variant
  • 369 total parts including grey and clear molded components
  • Clear exterior parts to showcase full internal structure
  • Detailed cockpit, radar equipment, and internal systems
  • Includes 2 decal sheets with marking options
  • Masking sheet included for canopy painting

A must-have for advanced modelers and aviation enthusiasts, this Super Wing Series kit offers a unique combination of historical inspiration, engineering detail, and striking display presence.
